Services
Golden Isles Sitters is a service designed around today’s busy family. We make finding reliable, trustworthy sitters easy. We also place qualified nannies, and other domestic professionals according to your family’s individual needs. We are located in Coastal Georgia, midway between Savannah and Jacksonville. Our service areas include the city of Brunswick and its four barrier islands, St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Little St. Simons Island, and Jekyll Island.
Golden Isles Sitter's Service Fees:
Once you complete your application, Golden Isles Sitters will contact you and discuss your family needs and expectations.
Prior to beginning our process, there will be a one-time annual registration fee. This charge will cover the cost of ensuring you receive the best and most qualified sitter for your family. Golden Isles Sitters is dedicated to recruiting experienced sitters, students from our local colleges, and young professionals. Over the course of our selection process, we will conduct a pre-screening, in-person interview, complete a background check, and verify references. Further, all candidates are required to be CPR and First Aid certified.
There is a placement fee and a scheduling fee, which are daily fees charged to the credit card on file. The placement fee is a charge for finding and placing the most suitable sitter in your home. The scheduling fee is to ensure you have a sitter for your requested days. (Please note these fees only apply to Child Care and ElderCare).
Golden Isles Sitters will charge a new client meeting fee. This fee will cover the cost of a lockbox for your house keys.
(Please note this fee only applies to Pet Care)
Text Check-In Fee: This is an optional service fee that you can opt-in to receive photos and/or videos via text.
Rush Fee: If you request services with less than 24-hour notice, there will be a $20 charge.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel with less than 24-hour notice a $20 cancellation fee will be charged to
the credit card on file.

With our services, we will provide a child care sitter who will fit the needs and schedule of your family.

Once our process of finding a sitter(s) is complete, we can either select the best candidate for your family; or forward our top three profiles over for you to view, and you can select the sitter of your choice.
There is a required three-hour minimum charge for all sittings.
Daily Sittings:
The sitter's rates start at $20 per hour for up to two children. For three to four children the rate becomes $25 per hour. If you are requesting one sitter for five or more children, the base rate will remain at $25 per hour, with an additional charge of $5 per child. However, for five or more children, we strongly encourage scheduling two sitters. Having two sitters in place will ensure a safe environment. Additionally, the rate for two sitters will remain at $25 per hour, per sitter.
Overnight Care Sitting:
The sitter's fee is $20 an hour for overnight care with an additional $50 flat-rate fee.
*Rates are doubled during the holidays
Included in the sitting fees: light housekeeping (cleaning up after children), administration of medication, and playtime. Should there be additional services required, we can discuss this during your consultation as additional costs may incur.
All monies should be paid directly to Golden Isles Sitters.

Pet Care Service Fees:
We understand the importance of providing consistent and reliable care for your pet. Not only are our pet sitters committed to creating a stress-free experience for pet owners they're even more dedicated to ensuring pets are even happier. We offer the following services:

There is a $3 charge for each additional pet.
Dog/Cat Walks or Check-In:
All walks or check-ins will include: walks, potty breaks, fresh water and feeding, pet clean-ups, and scooping of the litter box.
For a 15 minute visit, the sitter's rate is $20.
For a 30 minute visit, the sitter's rate is $30.
(This service will also include cleaning of the pet dish and administration of medication).
For a 45 minute visit, the sitter's rate is $40.
(This service will include: longer walks, extra playtime, cleaning of the pet dish, administration of medication, watering of plants, taking out the trash, and bringing in the mail).
For a 60 minute visit, the sitter's rate is $50.
(This service will include: longer walks, extra playtime, cleaning of the pet dish, administration of medication, watering of plants, taking out the trash, bringing in the mail, and alternate lights and/or blinds/drapes).
Pet Sitting:
There is a three-hour minimum requirement.
The sitter's pet sitting rate is $20 per hour.
(This service will include: walks, playtime, potty breaks, fresh water and feeding, pet clean-ups, scooping of the litter box, cleaning of the pet dish, and administration of medication).
Overnight Care:
For this service, the sitter's overnight care rate is a flat fee of $120.
The sitter will stay in your home, and their time will begin at 8 PM and end the following day at 6 AM.
(This service will include: walks, playtime, potty breaks, fresh water and feeding, pet clean-ups, scooping of the litter box, cleaning of the pet dish, administration of medication, watering of plants, taking out the trash, bringing in the mail, alternate lights and/or blinds/drapes, and check overall security of home).
Pet Taxi:
Your pet receives private, safe, and secure transportation to their appointment. This service also includes a potty break.
For pick-up or drop-off, the sitter's rate is $25.
For pick-up and drop-off, the sitter's rate is $45.
If you would like the sitter to wait during your pet's appointment, there is an additional charge of $15 per hour.
The pet taxi service will drive within a 20-mile radius. An additional charge of $0.40 per mile, roundtrip will be charged if more than 20 miles.
Lockbox:
To receive a lockbox, we will schedule an in-person meeting. During this meeting, you are required to provide two copies of your house keys; where we will then test both keys to ensure they work properly, we will then place them in the lockbox. Once placed in the lockbox, we will help you select a combination code and a secure location for your lockbox. Please notify us as soon as possible if you decide to change the code to the lockbox or move it to a new location. If the keys are absent or do not work, we will first contact you, and if you are unavailable, we will then contact a locksmith so that our sitter will have access to care for your pets. Please be advised that you will be responsible for the cost of the locksmith as well as the pet sitter's time.
Free-Roaming Pets:
It is at the owner's discretion if they would like their pets to roam the house unsupervised.
Golden Isles Sitters is not responsible for damages to your home or property by your pet(s).
The Client will be responsible for providing pet supplies (i.e., food, leashes, toys).

Elderly Care Service Fees:
Our carefully selected caregivers go to great lengths to ensure your loved one is receiving uplifting care, companionship, and the support they need. We offer the following services:
